Choosing your Newborn Photographer
Thank you for considering me to capture such a special time in your life. Choosing the right newborn photographer to take those all important images of your brand new baby is an exciting but often daunting task. Such a small window of opportunity to document those first days of your baby's life in all their squishy, wrinkly, curly newness.

As a mother of two young children, I appreciate the significance and emotional value of my work. I have over 5 years experience in newborn photography and have dedicated a vast amount of time to my training.
You can rest assured that my number one goal is to provide you with photographs you will love and cherish. Photographs that capture an unforgettable and irreplaceable moment in time. Photographs that years from now you will hold in your hands and be able to re-live the emotion of holding your precious baby in your arms.

The Newborn Session
Newborn sessions take place in my cosy home studio in Banstead, Surrey.
The best time to capture those beautiful curly photographs are in the first 2 weeks, when babies are most sleepy. That said, I am always more than happy to work with slightly older newborns and these sessions are suitable for babies up to 4 weeks of age. Older babies can sometimes be more alert and aware of their surroundings, so sessions can result in more 'eyes open' shots than sleepy ones - which can be super cute!
Sessions are entirely baby-led. I never rush my tiny clients and sessions can last anything between 2-4 hours. During the session I will capture a variety of photographs with the purpose of creating a beautiful hand edited gallery of approximately 20 high resolution images.
2-3 weeks after the session you will be invited back for your viewing appointment. Your gallery will initially be presented to you as a beautiful slideshow. You can then take your time to individually view the images before choosing which package and products you would like to purchase.

Sibling and Parent Inclusion
Siblings and parents are always strongly encouraged to get in front of the camera. Although I totally appreciate that being photographed is not at the top of every new sleep-deprived parent's wish list... trust me when I say it's these images that will be most cherished by your little one in years to come.
.....Plus I happen to be pretty good at making people look fabulous (even when they have just had a baby)!
